Your consultation starts with your anatomy, not with a procedure. We will show you what we see, explain what is causing it, and walk through your options. That includes the options that are not surgical, and the ones you may not need at all.
The standard we hold ourselves to is simple. Would we recommend this if you were one of our closest friends? When the answer is no, we say so, and we tell you what we would do instead.

Dr. Jacobson trained in ENT and facial plastic surgery before completing a fellowship in cosmetic surgery, and she opened Jacobson Cosmetic Surgery in 2022 as Lincoln’s first female cosmetic surgeon. She is still the only surgeon here, which is deliberate. It keeps the schedule small enough that she plans every case herself.
From your first consultation through your recovery, you are working with her. That combination of surgical precision, a natural-results philosophy, and care that stays personal is what patients have come to call The JCS Way.

Mikayla Kennedy, LE
Clinical Assistant, Licensed Esthetician
With a passion for aesthetics and patient care, Mikayla plays an integral role in helping patients feel supported, confident, and cared for throughout their journey at Jacobson Cosmetic Surgery. As a Licensed Esthetician and Clinical Assistant, she combines clinical knowledge, aesthetics expertise, and genuine compassion to help create a seamless patient experience from consultation through post-op recovery. Mikayla assists Dr. Jacobson every step of the way, ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for during their time at JCS.
Outside of the office, Mikayla is a proud toddler mom who loves spending quality time with family and friends, discovering cute girly drinks, and embracing life’s little moments.
Dr. Jessica Jacobson DO, FAACS
Owner and Surgeon
Known to her patients as Dr. J, she believes aesthetic medicine should feel approachable, honest, and deeply personal. Her philosophy is simple: we educate first, we operate second. Patients are encouraged to ask questions, understand their anatomy, and take the time they need to make decisions that feel right for them, without pressure.
Warm, colorful, and never overly clinical, JCS is very much a reflection of Dr. J herself. A lover of flora and fauna, all things feminine, and a little bit of whimsy, she has created a space where exceptional care and serious medicine can coexist with comfort, personality, and genuine connection.
Outside of JCS, Dr. J loves gardening, antiquing, and spending time with her husband, Adam, family, and friends. Their home is kept especially lively by their three dogs—Janis, Neil, and Jerry—and two cats, Lenny and Sarge.
Kailyn Bors, LE
Administrative Assistant, Licensed Esthetician
Kailyn combines a strong background in aesthetics, patient care, customer service, and digital marketing to help create the warm, welcoming experience patients know and love at Jacobson Cosmetic Surgery. As both an Administrative Assistant and Licensed Esthetician, she brings professionalism, creativity, and personable energy to our fast-paced medical and aesthetic office. Kailyn manages patient scheduling, helps ensure the office operates smoothly, creates social media content, and works hard to make every patient feel comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors.
When Kailyn is not in clinic, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Lennyn, making memories with friends and family, and continuing her education within the aesthetics industry.

There is no single definition of beauty, and there should not be a single approach to cosmetic surgery.
We start by listening. What bothers you? What doesn’t? What are you hoping to change, and what do you want to keep unmistakably you?
From there we will help you understand your anatomy and your options, so you can decide without pressure. Sometimes that means surgery. Sometimes it means something less. And sometimes the best recommendation is to do nothing at all.

Recovery, the JCS Way
Your Surgery Is One Day. Your Recovery Is Not.
Every procedure we perform is outpatient, so you go home the same day. After the longer surgeries, Dr. Jacobson checks on patients recovering in the Lincoln area that same evening. Not a call service, and not a visiting nurse. Her.
You will have a direct line to her while you heal, because something caught early is almost always a smaller problem than something caught late. Through our partnership with Via Medical Massage, surgical patients also have access to post-operative massage and manual lymphatic drainage when it is appropriate.
